CamSoda vs Stripchat 2026: Cheapest Tokens, Private Prices, VR and Toys Compared From Our Own Purchases

We bought on both sites with our own cards. CamSoda on 4 September 2026, Stripchat on 14 September 2026. This page lays the two receipts side by side: what a token cost us, where the cheap private rooms sit, which site counts its VR rooms, and what a minute of toy control is priced at.

Quick verdict: CamSoda wins the first purchase — 300 tokens for $14.99, about $0.050 each, once per account. Stripchat is the better place to spend after that, because it is the only one of the two that shows how many rooms sit in each private-price band: 3,542 rooms at 8–12 tokens a minute at 15:39 on 14 September 2026.

CamSoda vs Stripchat: what we paid on each, and when

CamSoda, 4 September 2026. We took the new-user intro pack: 300 tokens for $14.99, crossed out from $31.98 in the checkout, offered once. It delivered exactly 300 tokens. That works out to about $0.050 a token. The charge went through Epoch in euros — €13.55, marked non-recurring in the description, statement descriptor EPOCH.COM*LIVESODA.

We also bought the $19.95 monthly membership, billed €18.04. It dropped 200 bonus tokens in instantly — 300 to 500 — and unlocked ad-free viewing, private messages, Invisible Mode and anonymous tipping.

Stripchat, 14 September 2026. The euro checkout offered the 200-token pack at 25% off — €15.99 instead of €20.99 — and the footer called it a “one-time-only offer, no recurring charges”. We bought it. The balance landed at 200 tokens and the discount never reappeared afterwards. The card was billed through Paymentico; the bank push named the merchant Paymentico too.

Later the same day we bought Ultimate at €19.99 a month and cancelled it two and a half hours later, in one dialog with no retention offer. Its perks are real, but none of them touches a private-show rate.

CamSoda Purchase Tokens window with the one-time 300 tokens for $14.99 new-user deal selected and crossed-out $31.98 price, card payment, regular packs from 50 for $6.99
The single reason CamSoda wins on tokens: 300 for $14.99 in the live checkout on 4 September 2026, crossed out from $31.98 and marked for new users. Nothing on Stripchat’s menu comes close — and the slot vanished from our own menu straight after we bought.

After the intro deal is gone, the two sites sit almost on top of each other. CamSoda’s card packs bottom out near $0.091; Stripchat’s 520-pack is $0.096. That is a five-cent gap per ten tokens.

Crypto separates them again. CamSoda runs flat $0.080 on bulk tiers from $499.99 up to 312,500 tokens for $24,999.99. Stripchat’s euro crypto tail reaches roughly €0.083, but only from the 12,050-token tier upward.

Two traps worth naming. CamSoda’s PayPal menu runs about 10% dearer than its card menu — $7.69 for 50 tokens against $6.99, membership at $21.95 instead of $19.95 — and the intro deal is not offered there at all. On Stripchat, the Ultimate trial checkbox only appears on packs from 520 tokens by card, and it ships unticked.

Private shows: Stripchat vs CamSoda bands, same afternoon

Neither site prices a private show; each model does. What differs is how much each site tells you before you click.

Stripchat puts a number next to every band. At 15:39 on 14 September 2026 its category panel read: 8–12 tk 3,542 rooms · 16–24 tk 2,067 · 32–60 tk 1,536 · 90+ tk 450.

Crop of Stripchat’s category panel, Private Shows block: 8–12 tk 3542 rooms, 16–24 tk 2067, 32–60 tk 1536, 90+ tk 450, Recordable Privates 5181, Spy on Shows 289, Video Call (Cam2Cam) 7206; below it a Popular block with Interactive Toy 3812, Mobile 1721, Group Sex 82, Big Tits 3227, Hairy Pussy 1162, Outdoor 1144 and Big Ass 4317
This panel is the whole CamSoda vs Stripchat argument in one crop: Stripchat tells you 3,542 rooms sat at 8–12 tokens a minute at 15:39 on 14 September 2026, and 7,206 offered Video Call (Cam2Cam). CamSoda has the same kind of filter with no numbers attached.

Priced at the 520-pack rate of $0.096, that cheapest band works out near $0.77–1.15 a minute. Thirty minutes in an 8 tk/min room is 240 tokens, roughly $23.

The same afternoon we opened a Stripchat room asking 32 tk/min for Private and 44 tk/min for Exclusive, both with a 10-minute minimum. Thirty minutes there is 960 tokens, about $92. Two other rooms that day asked 60 and 90 tk/min, and one pinned a message reading “150tk/minute including C2C”. Same site, same hour, four prices.

CamSoda bands its sidebar filter at 6–18, 30–60, 90–120 and 120+ tokens a minute, with no room count beside any of them. On 4 September 2026 the private dialog we opened asked 60 tk/min with a 10-minute minimum billed upfront — 600 tokens before the first frame. An exclusive tier at 90 tk/min disabled spying, and the model’s fan club cut privates by up to 25%.

At CamSoda’s $0.110 card rate that room ran $6.60 a minute, so the minimum entry was about $66. Stripchat’s cheapest band sits at $0.77–1.15 a minute — but only because we could filter straight into it.

Full band-by-band maths sits in our guide to the cheapest cam sites.

VR: Stripchat has the counter, CamSoda has a VR tab

Both sites stream live VR. Only one publishes how much of it there is.

Stripchat carries a VR Cams counter in its sidebar. On Monday 14 September 2026 we read it six times between 14:46 and 15:54: 141 rooms at 14:46, a low of 136 around 14:55, then 146 at 15:28, 154 at 15:39 and 164 at 15:54. The entry point is vr.stripchat.com, opened in the headset’s own browser, then an Enter VR button, with no app to install. One VR room we opened that afternoon asked 60 tk/min for a private — that model’s own price.

CamSoda has a VR tab of its own, and it does one thing Stripchat does not: true 360° rooms alongside the 180° format, with toy control reachable from inside the player. When we opened it on 4 September 2026 the first screen held a dozen-plus VR-badged rooms. Entry goes age gate, then an “ENTER VR EXPERIENCE” button; on a desktop the room renders as a draggable 360° view with curved interface panels.

The split is catalogue against interactivity. Hourly room counts are in our Stripchat VR guide; the four platforms that actually stream VR sit on our best VR cam sites page.

Interactive toys: Cruise Control vs the Interactive Toy tag

CamSoda is clearly ahead here, and we paid for both sides of it.

CamSoda sells the controls directly. We bought a turn of Cruise Control on 4 September 2026: 56 tokens for 45 seconds, or 78 tokens a minute. The panel opened with an intensity slider running Low to Ultra, plus Wave and Random modes, and the chat announced the takeover with “My Lush is now controlled by …” in front of the room. At card rates of $0.091 to $0.140, that minute cost $7.10 to $10.92.

On CamSoda the brackets arrived as a chat notice in the room we sat in: 1–14 tokens buys 3 seconds on Low, 100–499 gives 15 seconds High, and 1,000 or more triggers 100 seconds of Ultra.

Stripchat has the scale instead. Its Interactive Toy tag held 3,812 rooms at 15:39 on 14 September 2026. Brackets differed room to room: in one room we tipped 20 tokens and the widget answered with an Ultra High burst of 6 seconds. Another room’s toy tab listed 10 tokens for 5 seconds Low, 151 for 30 seconds High, 500 for 60 seconds Ultra, and 555 for a full minute of toy control.

Side by side: the CamSoda session we bought charged 78 tokens a minute, the Stripchat room we read wanted 555 for the same minute — about $53 at $0.096. Both are one room at one moment. The mechanism differs too: CamSoda’s panel is a live slider, while the Stripchat room sold preset bursts plus a separate 555-token line for a full minute of control.

Room-by-room detail is on our OhMiBod cams page.

Cam2cam: included on one, an upgrade on the other

Cam2cam is two-way video inside a private. Neither site meters it separately. What differs is which show tier carries it.

On CamSoda it comes with any private. The dialog we opened listed cam2cam, recordings, voice-only calls and watching porn together under the same private. You pay the room rate: 60 tk/min, ten minutes minimum, charged upfront — 600 tokens, about $66 at $0.110.

On Stripchat it rides inside Exclusive Private, and every room we opened on 14 September 2026 priced Exclusive above Private — 32 tokens became 44, and the 90 tk/min room pinned 150 a minute for the version including C2C. The category panel counted 7,206 rooms offering Video Call (Cam2Cam) at 15:39 that day.

Ten minutes of C2C in the rooms we actually opened: 440 tokens on Stripchat at 44 tk/min, roughly $42; 600 tokens on CamSoda at 60 tk/min, roughly $66. Change the room and the answer changes with it. Mechanics, privacy caveats and the six-platform table are in our cam2cam guide.

Free tokens and promos: weekly banner vs hourly draw

Both sites advertise free tokens. One of the two offers can be diarised.

CamSoda’s pitch is a banner inside the room. On 4 September 2026 it read “CamSoda rewards our nicest users with 1,000 free tokens each week” — no rules, no entry form, no schedule beside it. Our token history from that session logged two credits and no third: 300 bought, 200 from the membership.

Its dependable routes are the other three: 200 tokens with the $19.95 membership, 100 for verifying a Mastercard, and the once-per-account 300/$14.99 pack.

Stripchat runs an hourly draw for 50 tokens instead. On 14 September 2026 a bar at the bottom of the room counted down “The next draw starts in 03:20” next to a link to the previous hour’s winners. Our own discount came from a different place: the one-time 25% cut on the 200-token pack, €15.99 instead of €20.99.

And the paid tier that looks like a promo is not one. Stripchat’s checkout offers Ultimate with an unticked box reading “Would you like to try Ultimate Membership for 7 days for FREE? Only €19.99/month after!”. Its official perk table lists no private-show discount. Details on our free Stripchat tokens page.

Verdict by scenario

  • Your first $15 on cam sites. CamSoda. The 300/$14.99 pack is the best token price either site has shown us, and it fires once.
  • Regular private shows. Stripchat. Both sites band their private filters by price, but only Stripchat counts the rooms in each band.
  • Renting the toy. CamSoda. A live slider at 78 tokens a minute, against 555 for a minute of full control in the Stripchat room we read.
  • VR. Stripchat for the count — 136 to 164 rooms across six readings on 14 September 2026. CamSoda if you want 360° and toy controls inside the headset.
  • One short cam2cam session. The rooms we opened put Stripchat ahead: about $42 for ten minutes against $66.
  • Paying by PayPal. Not on CamSoda: its PayPal menu costs about 10% more and drops the intro deal.

Where this comes from

Bought first-hand. CamSoda on 4 September 2026: the intro pack, the $19.95 membership, a Cruise Control turn, a stream recording at 6 tokens a minute and tips. Stripchat on 14 September 2026: 200 tokens for €15.99, then Ultimate bought and cancelled the same day. Checkout screens, billing descriptors and interface notes come from those two accounts.

Dates matter here. Stripchat’s USD ladder was checked in March 2026; the September checkout we photographed was in euros, so the currencies sit side by side rather than converted. Room counts are snapshots with a clock time, because they move: the site showed 10,823 rooms live at 00:25 on 14 September 2026 and 8,241 at 14:46 the same day.

Our scored write-ups are the Stripchat review at 9/10 and the CamSoda review at 7/10. We earn a commission from both — see the affiliate disclosure. The numbers above came off our own statements.

FAQ — CamSoda vs Stripchat

Is CamSoda cheaper than Stripchat?

On your first purchase, yes, and by a wide margin: 300 tokens for $14.99 on 4 September 2026, about $0.050 each. After that the two converge — CamSoda card packs bottom out near $0.091, Stripchat’s 520-pack is $0.096. Sessions are a different question: Stripchat’s fullest private band asked 8–12 tokens a minute at 15:39 on 14 September 2026, while the CamSoda room we opened wanted 60 a minute with ten minutes upfront.

Which is better, CamSoda or Stripchat?

Stripchat for regular use, CamSoda for the first purchase and for toy control. We score them 9/10 and 7/10. Stripchat has the larger VR catalogue and is the only one of the two that shows how many rooms sit in each private-price band. CamSoda answers with a half-price intro pack, a live Cruise Control slider at 78 tokens a minute in our session, and 360° VR.

Does Stripchat have VR and CamSoda not?

Both have VR. Stripchat has more of it and counts it publicly: its VR Cams counter read 141 rooms at 14:46 and 164 at 15:54 on 14 September 2026. CamSoda has a VR tab with a dozen-plus badged rooms on the first screen when we opened it on 4 September 2026, plus true 360° rooms and toy controls inside the player. Neither needs an app — both run in the headset browser.

Which has cheaper private shows?

Stripchat, if you use the filter. Its 8–12 tokens-a-minute band held 3,542 rooms at 15:39 on 14 September 2026, roughly $0.77–1.15 a minute at the 520-pack rate. CamSoda bands rooms from 6–18 up to 120+ tokens a minute but publishes no counts, and the room we opened asked 60 a minute with a 10-minute minimum billed upfront — 600 tokens, about $66. Every rate is the model’s own.

Which one gives free tokens?

Stripchat runs an hourly 50-token draw inside the rooms; on 14 September 2026 the bar read that the next draw started in 03:20. CamSoda shows a weekly banner promising 1,000 free tokens to its nicest users, with no rules or entry form posted — but it does give 200 tokens with a membership sign-up and 100 for verifying a Mastercard.

Bottom line

Spend the $14.99 intro pack on CamSoda first — $0.050 a token is a price neither site offers twice. Then do your regular watching on Stripchat, where the price filter counts the cheap rooms for you and the VR catalogue is larger. Keep CamSoda for the toy slider. Both are free to browse.
