Omegle shut down on 8 November 2023. Of the peer roulettes recommended as NSFW, only three allow nudity by their own rules: LuckyCrush, OmegleMe NSFW and Flingster.
Quick verdict: For a stranger, LuckyCrush (credits by the minute) or OmegleMe NSFW (free, no account). For someone still there in five minutes, a paid performer whose rate you read first: Stripchat.

What happened to Omegle: why Omegle shut down, and what lives at omegle.com now
Omegle launched on 25 March 2009, built by an 18-year-old Leif K-Brooks in Brattleboro, Vermont. It ran 14 years and closed on 8 November 2023, after its rules moved to 18+ only in 2022. The farewell letter named two costs: fighting child exploitation, and the personal toll. As quoted by NPR, K-Brooks wrote that “Operating Omegle is no longer sustainable, financially nor psychologically”.
The closure followed A.M. v. Omegle.com LLC, a $22 million suit filed in Oregon in 2019; the plaintiff was 11 years old in 2014. Wikipedia, citing the BBC, records that naming her in the farewell note was part of a settlement. As quoted by the BBC: “I thank A.M. for opening my eyes to the human cost of Omegle.”
The domain is not dead, and that is where readers get misled. Checked 15 September 2026: omegle.com returns a 301 to www.omegle.com, which serves a working app whose manifest still reads “Omegle: Free Live Video Chat to Meet New People Online”.
What changed is the money. The app bundle carries VIP and SVIP tiers, a coin store, a gender-limit flag and a first-subscription discount line. WHOIS gives the registrant organisation as RC Tech America Inc., record updated 22 May 2026. So the address hosts a paid random-chat product, not the service that closed. Since the closure, “adult Omegle alternative” has meant three products: peer roulettes, cam sites with a roulette interface, and ordinary cam sites.
Adult chat roulette sites like Omegle: peer roulettes whose rules allow adult content
Three roulettes on this page allow adult content in their own published rules: LuckyCrush and OmegleMe NSFW below, and Flingster, which has its own section further down. Every other random-chat site in this comparison bans it, whatever the listicles say, except two special cases further down: Camzey and Camround. The two below were checked 15 September 2026 from public pages only — we hold no accounts there.
LuckyCrush: credits are minutes, and the price sits behind the sign-up
LuckyCrush is operated by Tech World Entertainment B.V. in Doetinchem, the Netherlands, named in the footer and in section 2 of its terms. Men are matched with women and trans people 18+, women with men. You can start without an account, but the terms call that a trial period whose length the operator sets freely.
The nudity rule is why it belongs here. Section 11.8 of the terms bans “Content showing nudity without the partner’s consent or without the partner certifying that they are over the age of 18”, so nudity between consenting adults is not ruled out. The same list also bans “Content that is pornographic” (re-read 1 October 2026). Section 7 lets the site block content until a user’s age is verified where law demands it.
Billing is credits, and credits are time — “Credits represent a determined period of time”. They expire after 365 days and are non-refundable. No price is published on the public site; the terms point to figures shown once you register. There is no app: the FAQ says the service runs in the mobile browser.
If the unpublished price is the sticking point, two services on this page show their cost first. SlutRoulette keeps the roulette format and says in its FAQ that watching is free, and CooMeet publishes $0.50 a minute.
OmegleMe NSFW: free, no account, and “only certain levels”
OmegleMe NSFW is a subdomain of OmegleMe, launched on 10 December 2023, and its FAQ states no affiliation with Omegle or Ome.tv. It runs text, video and audio queues, interest matching, preferred countries and a maximum wait of 1–15 seconds. Registration does not exist, and the FAQ calls it “completely free to use”.
The headline claim is chat “without getting banned for nudity”. The FAQ is narrower: the site keeps network-wide moderation, “allowing only certain levels of NSFW content”. That is a lower bar than LuckyCrush, not an open door. Rules are 18+, it is not a dating site, and streaming someone else’s video is a ban.
There is no app; the operator says one is planned. The gender filter is not theirs either — a banner sends you to OGTV, their other product. Checked 15 September 2026.
If “certain levels” is not enough, a cam site puts adult content inside the rules rather than at their edge. Stripchat’s public rooms are free to watch with no card.
Myth check: “NSFW” roulettes that ban nudity
Ask Reddit for an NSFW Omegle alternative and Emerald Chat comes back first. Its own rules disagree, as do those of every other roulette in this section. All four pages were read on 15 September 2026.
Emerald Chat. An account is required: “we do require a simple account creation (email and password)”. Free covers random text and video chat; gender, country and language filters sit behind a subscription marked “Gender Filter (Premium)”, whose price is not published anywhere. Nudity is out — the safety centre says explicit material “can lead to immediate bans”.
Chatroulette. The 2009 original is free and needs no account, and it is blunt: “Sexually suggestive content is prohibited.” Rule 2 adds that sexual content in the Random Chat area is strictly prohibited. Confirmed violations end in an immediate ban rather than a warning, and matching now runs on photos both sides accept.
Camdiv. Launched in 2025, no registration, no country or gender filters, and no paid layer at all: “no subscriptions, credits, or paid match tiers”. The guidelines are zero tolerance — “No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive conduct” — enforced by automatic sampling of video frames and human review.
OmegleWeb. Text and video, no registration, an 18+ checkbox first. Its community guidelines, effective 24 April 2026, list “Sexual content, nudity, or sexual harassment” under zero tolerance. An adults-only age rule is not permission for adult content — that confusion keeps these sites on NSFW lists.
Leaving a specific roulette: where OmeTV, CooMeet, LuckyCrush, Chatroulette and Flingster users go
Nine random-chat names send people looking elsewhere, each for a different reason: a ban, a meter, a paywalled filter, a rulebook stricter than the name, or a site that is not what it looks like. The rules and prices below are each site’s own, read 17 September 2026 (Emerald Chat 15 September; Bazoocam, Camzey and Camround 1 October); Flingster’s come from archived copies, because its live site blocks automated reading.
The roulette-shaped answer for adults on this page is SlutRoulette, a cam site behind a roulette interface. The cheaper answer is a cam site’s public rooms, free to watch, where each model prices her own private time.

OmeTV alternatives: what to use when moderation and bans push you out
OmeTV is run by Bad Kitty’s Dad, LDA in Corroios, Portugal, and it is free in the plain sense: its FAQ says “OmeTV video chat is completely free! Plus, the platform is ad-free”. It is also the strictest rulebook here.
The rules forbid users to “Appear naked or in underwear”, to “Expose any intimate body parts”, and even to send emoji “that may imply sexual meaning”. Moderators work “24/7, including weekends and holidays”, and “Our system automatically bans users who receive multiple complaints in a short duration”.
The other reason people leave is the filter that does not exist. OmeTV refuses to sell one, on the record: “Unlike some Omegle-like platforms that claim to offer ‘girls only’ chats for a fee, we don’t offer gender-specific filters because such features often don’t meet user expectations.”
Its FAQ adds that “Selecting ‘female’ will not guarantee you meet more girls—it’s all random!”. So a ban for nudity is the rules working, and a search for a filter leads off the site by design.

CooMeet: paying by the minute, and what “CooMeet free” really means
CooMeet is a paid video chat with women rather than a roulette. Its User Agreement states that “Communication in the Application is carried out on a payment basis”, and the matching is the product: it “connects men in live mode only with girls”. The operator is Gartwell Limited, registered in Belize under Cyprus law. Prices are published in full.
A minute costs $0.50; packs run 10 minutes for $5, 60 for $25 and 360 for $100. Premium is $2.97 for a 3-day trial with 10 free minutes, $9.99 a month with 20, $23.97 for three months with 70 and $29.94 for six with 100. A $1.99 30-day offer, auto-renewing, appears “from time to time to a limited number of accounts only”, and VAT may be added.
“CooMeet free” therefore means a restricted trial: “you can chat for free … but with restrictions”, plus gift minutes for confirming your email. The “700+ thousand Verified accounts” on the homepage is a marketing claim. The agreement’s published checks are automatic face recognition, a gesture test from a moderator and “mystery shoppers”, all aimed at minors and rebroadcast, not at proving anyone is a woman.
The rules changed on 23 July 2024: adult content is “permitted only in areas accessible after successful age verification” and “strictly prohibited in public or non-age-gated areas”. One point in its favour: unspent minutes can be refunded to the original card, which neither Flingster nor LuckyCrush offers.
Where that leads. If the meter is the problem, a cam site’s public rooms are free to watch, and the private rate is set by each model and shown before you pay: Stripchat and Chaturbate on this page. LuckyCrush users leave over the same meter: its credits are minutes, valid for 365 days, “final and non-refundable” and priced only after you register, and the length of the free trial is left to the operator (terms read on luckycrush.com on 17 September 2026). Chatroulette alternatives: the 2009 original is free, filtered and strict
Chatroulette is run by CR Services AG in Zug, Switzerland, under terms updated 18 June 2026. It is free with no account: “There is no charge to start a free video chat with strangers, and you do not need an account.” Its gender preference is free too, a “Meet / Gender / From / Language” panel, and its currency, Quids, is “free in-app currency” with a starting balance of 15, spent only on the “top users” filter.
What pushes adults out is the rulebook: “Sexual content, especially in the Random Chat area, is strictly prohibited”. Reports move fast: “Every report is reviewed by a human moderator – usually within minutes”, and “Confirmed violations result in an immediate ban, not a warning”.
Where that leads. If you want the same SFW format with a free filter, you already have it, and OmeTV is the other free, moderated option. If you were banned for adult content, no SFW roulette will take it; SlutRoulette is the roulette-shaped adult answer, and cam sites are the cheaper one. Read 17 September 2026.
Emerald Chat alternatives: sites like Emerald Chat where adult content is allowed
Emerald Chat’s rules are quoted in the myth check above: an email account to start, gender filters behind a premium price it does not publish, immediate bans for explicit material. The alternatives whose rules point the other way: LuckyCrush, OmegleMe NSFW and Flingster for strangers, SlutRoulette for performers in the same random format, Stripchat for free rooms with the rate shown first. Flingster: adult by its rules, filters behind a price it does not publish
Flingster is adult by its own terms: “The Company only allows visual media of consenting adults for consenting adults on the Website”. It is offered to users “who are 18-years old or older and who do not otherwise find sexually explicit content offensive”.
It is free to start, “without any registration required”, and the gender and location filters are premium: “Some filters and features are only available to our Flingster premium members.” The price of premium is not published on any page we could find; the plan slots exist, and the amounts load only at checkout. Billing is by SegPay, “discreetly billed”, and the policy is “No Refunds”.
Two cautions. The operator is Skyline Media LLC in Sheridan, Wyoming, and its live site blocks automated reading. These quotes come from archived copies of its terms and FAQ: the terms self-dated 19 February 2024, the FAQ captured 6 April 2026. And the terms contradict themselves: a boilerplate User Contributions clause bars promoting “sexually explicit or pornographic material” on the same site that allows it for consenting adults.
Where that leads. People leave Flingster over bots and the paywalled filter. A cam site removes both problems at once: the performer is identified, the room is free to watch, and the price of private time is set by the model and visible first. Bazoocam alternatives: sites like Bazoocam chat for adults
Bazoocam is the French veteran of random video chat, and bazoocam.org still presents one: press start, meet a stranger, press Next, with matching by location, one-on-one games such as Tetris and 4 in a row, and several language versions.
The rule that sends adults elsewhere is on the same page: Bazoocam “is moderated constantly by more than 40 people”, and its rules “include keeping your clothes on”, on pain of a 20-day ban. Read 1 October 2026; bazoocam.com did not answer that day. August 2026 user reports add spam and limited or paid filters.

Camzey alternatives: why camzey.com keeps matching you with men
Reviews, ours included (August 2026), filed Camzey as an ordinary Omegle-style roulette. Its homepage, read 1 October 2026, calls it “a free and anonymous cam sex site which you can use without registration”; the start screen asks your gender, your age and which genders you like, and the footer links four more chat sites: Skibbel, Gydoo, Enslavr and Vidizzy.
Two cautions. The same page says you can record each session on video, so assume the other side can too. And its terms page would not load for us, so we have not read its rules: that is why Camzey is not among the three roulettes whose rules allow nudity.
Why men keep turning up: user reports we read in August 2026 describe men meeting men spin after spin, and a preference setting cannot add women who are not online. Where every match is a woman: Omegle with women only, below.

Camround: what it is and what to use instead
Camround looks like a roulette, with “Anonymous Video Chat with Strangers” behind an 18+ confirmation. Its terms, read 1 October 2026, say otherwise: “CamRound.com is a review and affiliate platform. We do not own or operate the tools, platforms, or services reviewed, linked, or referenced on this site.”
The same terms let it earn commissions on sign-ups elsewhere and sell subscriptions or premium features, under South African law. Complaints in August 2026 user reports concern paid features that did not work as advertised: keep the card away until you know whose service you are paying for.

Cam sites like Omegle: cam-site roulettes and the honest adult alternative
The sites that actually satisfy an “omegle alternative adult” search are cam sites. The person on camera chose to be there, the platform moderates the room, and the model’s rate is visible before you spend. Chaturbate below is one name in a wider field; our cam sites compared, not roulettes lines up more by token price and free rooms.
Omegle with women only: gender filters, and where every match is a woman
A gender filter changes whom you are offered, not who is online. By their own terms, OmeTV refuses to sell one, Chatroulette’s is free, Emerald Chat and Flingster charge an unpublished premium for theirs, Camdiv has none, and OmegleMe NSFW sends you to another product.
Every match is a woman only where she is paid to be there. CooMeet “connects men in live mode only with girls” at $0.50 a minute, and its agreement lets women convert points into money. On cam sites the women are performers, the category menu is a free filter, and each sets her own private rate. Read 17 September 2026.
SlutRoulette: a dirty chat roulette with a cam site behind it
SlutRoulette wears a roulette skin over a cam site: its landing page puts you “face-to-face with cam performers”. Watching is free by its FAQ — “You can watch and explore for free” — while a private show is paid, at a price not published on the public site.
Its no-sign-up promise fails in Europe. Loaded from Cyprus, the page opened a gate: “Due to your location, you must first create an account to validate your age”. The operator is named nowhere; /about returns 404. Compared from public data, checked 15 September 2026.
Stripchat: free to watch, private rates set by each model
We use Stripchat on our own account. Registration takes an email and no card; a card is needed only to buy tokens, and we bought ours on 14 September 2026. Public rooms, categories and filters open without signing in.
Private rates are the model’s own. The price filter groups rooms by what models charge: at 15:39 on 14 September 2026 it held 3,542 rooms at 8–12 tokens a minute, 2,067 at 16–24, 1,536 at 32–60 and 450 at 90 or more. At the 520-token rate of about $0.096, the cheapest band is near $0.77–1.15 a minute.
One room we asked on 14 September 2026 quoted 32 tokens a minute for a private and 44 for an exclusive, each with a 10-minute minimum; cam2cam came with the exclusive tier there. Detail sits in our Stripchat review, the free tokens guide and our cam2cam guide.

Chaturbate: public shows free, cam2cam free at platform level
Chaturbate also takes an email and no card to register. We checked cam2cam from our own account on 3 September 2026: the Cam To Cam toggle is reachable from free chat, and the platform adds no per-minute fee. Any surcharge is the model’s rule, priced in her tip menu.
Tokens ran $0.079–0.140 each on 1 September 2026, with the everyday packs at $0.08–0.11. Private rates are set per room, so a show costs whatever that room charges. Our Chaturbate review has the checkout screens.
CamSoda: a one-time intro pack and a weekly token banner
CamSoda was the third card we used. On 4 September 2026 we bought the new-user intro pack — 300 tokens for $14.99, struck through from $31.98 — and the slot then vanished from the menu. Registration needs no card. A banner in the rooms reads: “CamSoda rewards our nicest users with 1,000 free tokens each week”.
Privates are billed up front on a 10-minute minimum, so a 60-token room costs 600 tokens to enter. Unlike LuckyCrush’s per-minute credits, you read the rate before you commit. Screens are in our CamSoda review.
Jerkmate: the counterexample on the word “free”
Jerkmate is a cam site whose sign-up offers a card, one screen after the account exists, and can be skipped in a click. Its three-step box reads “Enter your email · Choose your password · Add your card”, under the footnote “Membership is free, forever!”. A private’s per-minute price is nowhere on the public pages. Men looking for men are badly served by the roulettes above: LuckyCrush matches men with women and trans people, and CooMeet connects men “only with girls”. Random chat vs cam site: what you actually get for free
“Omegle alternative no sign up”: what you get without an account
Six roulettes here start with no account: OmegleMe NSFW, Camdiv, OmegleWeb, Chatroulette, OmeTV and Flingster. Of those, OmegleMe NSFW and Flingster allow any adult content. LuckyCrush also starts without one, then charges credits by the minute, and Camzey says it needs no registration. SlutRoulette promises no sign-up; from our EU address it demanded an account first.
Cam sites are free in a different way. Stripchat, Chaturbate and CamSoda open public rooms with no account and no card; we hold paid accounts on all three and bought tokens in September 2026. Money buys private time, toy control and recordings there, never the public stream.
A search for “omegle sex alternative” is two wishes at once: randomness, and nudity that will not get someone banned. The roulettes at the top of this page cover the randomness. The cam sites cover the nudity, with a name and a rate attached.

Omegle for adults only? Safety, age checks, recording and bans by their own terms
“Adults only” is mostly a checkbox: OmegleWeb asks you to tick 18+, Camround puts an 18+ confirmation on its chat button, and Chatroulette and OmeTV are adults-only but ban sexual content. Real age checks come where adult content is allowed: LuckyCrush can block content until age is verified, CooMeet allows it only in age-verified areas, and SlutRoulette demanded an account to validate age from our EU address.
“Unmoderated Omegle” and “uncensored Omegle”: no such thing by the rules
Every site here publishes enforcement rules, including the three that allow nudity. LuckyCrush ties access to age verification where law requires it. Camdiv samples video frames and passes CSAM to law enforcement. OmegleWeb routes reports to the NCMEC CyberTipline. Nothing here is unmoderated in writing.
Bans are fast where nudity is banned: Chatroulette, Emerald Chat and Bazoocam all promise them, and Camdiv blocks once several frames match, then offers a one-click appeal.
Recording cuts both ways. OmegleWeb says it may log chats, technical identifiers and moderation evidence. On cam sites recording is a priced product: one Stripchat room offered a recording of its public show at 120 tokens a minute on 14 September 2026, and CamSoda charged us 6 tokens a minute on 4 September 2026.
On a roulette you cannot verify who is opposite you, and nothing stops them capturing their own screen. On a cam site the performer is identifiable and the platform carries the complaint. Send no money and no personal details either way.

None of it comes from using those services: LuckyCrush, OmegleMe NSFW, Emerald Chat, Chatroulette, Camdiv, OmegleWeb, OmeTV, CooMeet, Flingster, SlutRoulette, Jerkmate, Bazoocam, Camzey, Camround and Flirt4Free are compared from public data.

Reddit was the demand signal, not the evidence. Reddit itself was unreachable, so we read Google snippets of threads on r/NoStupidQuestions, r/camtocamsites, r/AskRedditNSFW and r/thundrstruck on 15 September 2026. Two complaints repeat: sign-ups that demand an email or a phone number, and the view that no good adult Omegle alternative has arrived. Nothing from those threads is quoted here.
