- Wrong browser. A flat tab on your monitor cannot enter VR — the stream must be opened in the headset’s browser (or a WebXR-enabled desktop browser with the headset connected).
- Permission was declined. WebXR asks once; if it was refused, re-enable it in the browser’s site permissions and reload the room.
- The room is not actually in VR. Only rooms with the VR badge broadcast in 180° — a regular room opened in a headset stays a flat screen.
- Bandwidth. 4K at 180° is heavy. Drop the quality one notch in the player, or move to 5 GHz Wi-Fi — this fixes most stutter and black-screen cases.
- Stale session. Close the browser fully and re-enter — WebXR sessions occasionally wedge after the headset sleeps.
