Nine cam sites compared on the four numbers a model actually lives with: your share of what viewers pay, the minimum payout, the payday, and how the money is earned. MyFreeCams publishes “more than 60%”, Stripchat’s own example works out to about 59%, LiveJasmin runs 30–80% in 14-day steps, Chaturbate pays a flat $0.05 a token. Every figure is from the platform’s model pages, read 24 September 2026; we have not broadcast on any of them.

The short version
There is no single best cam site for models, because the platforms sell different things. Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, MyFreeCams and CamSoda are tip sites: the room is free, income comes from many small tips plus privates. Streamate, Jerkmate and Flirt4Free are per-minute sites: free chat is a sales floor and the money is in private sessions. LiveJasmin is premium and pays by level; SkyPrivate is pay-per-minute calls on Teams, Discord and Telegram.
If you want one recommendation per case:
- First-ever stream, no audience: Chaturbate or Stripchat, free signup, $50 minimum, a new-model boost on both.
- You prefer selling time to fishing for tips: Streamate, where you set a per-minute rate and free chat is only the funnel.
- You already have a following you can bring: MyFreeCams, which publishes “more than 60% of all gross revenue to models” and pays twice a month.
- You will bill more than $4,000 a fortnight: LiveJasmin, where the level system passes 60% at that point and reaches 80% at $30,000.

Two cautions before you compare percentages. A share of “gross revenue” and a share of a token’s price are not the same base: Chaturbate’s $0.05 is 36% of the dearest token and 63% of the cheapest. And LiveJasmin’s 80% is a level you reach again every fortnight, not a rate you keep. The sections below give the source for each row.
Stripchat: a published breakdown and Tuesday payouts
Stripchat is the one tip site that publishes the arithmetic. Its model page takes a $199.99 token purchase, deducts $28 for processing and taxes and $40 for marketing, and shows the model receiving $117.48, which it labels 89% of the remainder and which is about 59% of the viewer’s money.
Payouts are weekly: “All payout methods are free of charge for Models/Studios and are executed automatically on Tuesdays”, from $50 on Paxum, Cosmo and BTC/USDT and $100 on ETH/USDC, ACH and SEPA. Chaturbate: $0.05 a token, the biggest free audience
Chaturbate converts every token at $0.05 and pays twice a month from a $50 minimum, “within 7 business days following each pay periods end” (“When will I receive my payment?”, updated 24 September 2026). Because viewers pay $0.079 to $0.14 a token, your share of their spend is 36% to 63%.
Signup is free, the viewer and broadcaster accounts are the same, and a NEW tag boosts visibility for 80 streaming hours in the first 30 days. BongaCams: weekly Fridays, early Tuesdays, Fast Track verification
BongaModels, the model side of BongaCams, publishes everything except the share. Minimum payout is “$50 for models and $100 for studios”, and “All payouts are made on Fridays, the week following the pay period”. Early payouts come on Tuesdays if you stream at least 3 hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On-request payouts arrive within 30 minutes, from $20 on Paxum or WebMoney.
Default private prices are 60 tokens a minute, full-private 90, group 30, spy 15, all adjustable. Fast Track registration verifies automatically, a 14-day promo period applies to new models, and “our models can stream without showing their faces or while wearing a mask”. LiveJasmin: 30% to 80% by level, $100 threshold
LiveJasmin’s Level Dependent Payment System is public: nine levels from 30% at $0–250 billed in a 14-day period to 80% at $30,000 and above, and “Your level resets to Level 1 at the beginning of every period”.
The payout threshold is $100, payouts follow each 14-day period, standard payment lands 25 days after the period closes, and faster options carry a 1% fee. The maths, the login rules and the studio question are in our LiveJasmin Model Center guide; open the LiveJasmin model registration to apply.
MyFreeCams: “more than 60%”, paid on the 1st and 16th
MyFreeCams publishes its share in plain words on the model wiki: “MyFreeCams.com pays out more than 60% of all gross revenue to models. Exact payment details are provided during registration.” Payment is on “the 1st and 16th of every month for the previous 15 days, with no delays or hold-backs”.
Methods: direct deposit, wire, cheque for the US and Canada, or e-wallets such as Paxum. Requirements are a Windows or Mac computer, 5 Mbps upload, a government ID and a photo of you with it. “There are no schedules or minimum hours”. MFC runs no model referral programme, so we have no link to give you; the wiki page is titled “Becoming a Webcam Model at MyFreeCams”.
Streamate and Jerkmate: per-minute, the lowest documented share
Streamate does not publish a share; studio training pages put it at about 35% on shows and 50% on clip sales, and we quote them as such. What it does publish is the model: you set a per-minute rate, free chat is the conversion room, and income arrives in fewer, larger sessions.
Minimums depend on the method, $20 for a US paper cheque, $100 for ACH, SEPA, Paxum, MassPay and Cosmo, $200 for FedEx and wire; cheques go out Thursdays, electronic payments Fridays, after proof of address clears. Jerkmate runs on the same engine, so a Jerkmate model is a Streamate model. Flirt4Free: monthly payouts, share not published
Flirt4Free recruits through VS Media’s webcam4money.com and signs models to a broadcaster agreement. It pays “at the end of each month in which that revenue was earned, on condition that the amount owed meets the minimum payout amount established by VS Media”. Neither the share nor the minimum is printed.
US performers file a W-9, and every applicant uploads an ID front and back with a selfie for third-party verification. The viewer side, seven show types and VIP credits, is in our Flirt4Free review; apply on webcam4money.com to see the current terms.
CamSoda: what its model wiki says, and what we could not read
CamSoda’s camsoda.com/models pages sit behind a bot wall that blocked every tool we have on 24 September 2026; the payout figure in the table comes from CamSoda’s own model wiki, read 15 September 2026: 50–55% per token, about 65% of gross spend, paid weekly. Its public FAQ summary says a model completes the signup, verifies identity and age, adds payout details and submits an application before tokens can be received.
Treat any other percentage you see quoted elsewhere as unverified until you read it on CamSoda’s own pages yourself. Our CamSoda review covers prices as a viewer; open the CamSoda model signup to read their terms.
SkyPrivate: per-minute calls off the cam grid
SkyPrivate is not a cam room but a pay-per-minute call hub on Teams, Discord and Telegram. It markets to models with a comparison table claiming a “90–70%” payout rate, “weekly or faster” payouts and a “low and flexible” threshold, against 50–70% at the big cam sites.
The 70% default and the 90% ceiling are in SkyPrivate’s help centre (updated 20 January 2026); the ceiling comes from referring members, and 3.5% comes off at withdrawal. We could not test any of it. It suits models who already have clients to bring, since there is no free-chat traffic to convert. Which cam site for which model
- Beginner with no audience: Chaturbate or Stripchat. Free rooms bring viewers to you, the new-model boost is real, and the $50 minimum arrives fast.
- Selling time, not tips: Streamate. Per-minute rates you set; Reddit threads on “highest paying cam sites” quote hourly figures there, which we do not repeat because they are anecdotes.
- Big volume already: LiveJasmin or MyFreeCams. LiveJasmin’s share climbs with billing inside each fortnight; MFC’s 60%+ is flat and paid on a calendar.
- Fast cash flow: BongaCams, with on-request payouts in 30 minutes from $20 on Paxum or WebMoney, capped at $500 a day, or Chaturbate Daily Payouts after your second (US) or fourth (international) payout.
- Faceless or masked: BongaCams says it in writing; every platform still verifies your face against an ID at signup.
- Couples and guys: Chaturbate allows up to five verified people on one cam; Flirt4Free has a large guys section.
- EU, UK and the DAC7 form: BongaCams and Chaturbate both collect tax identification for EU residents; plan for it before the first payout.
Income calculator: what a week of streaming pays on each site
Enter your hours and what your viewers spend per hour, in dollars, and the calculator applies each platform’s published share. It ignores the thing no platform promises, how many viewers turn up, and it leaves a row blank where the platform prints no share. Presets are a modest 20 hours and $30 of viewer spend an hour.
Month = 4.3 weeks. Stripchat: 59% is the platform’s own worked example ($117.48 kept from a $199.99 purchase); its help centre puts the average at “over 55%” of user spending, always $0.05 a token. Chaturbate: $0.05 per token against a viewer price of $0.079–$0.14, shown as a range. LiveJasmin: the level is set by the fortnight’s billing (two weeks of the figures above) and resets every period. Streamate: studio-page figure, not official. SkyPrivate: 70% is the default, 90% the ceiling reached by referring members, and 3.5% comes off at withdrawal. BongaCams and Flirt4Free publish no share, so no number; CamSoda’s 50–55% is per token, from its model wiki. Figures read 24 September 2026; nothing here is a promise of viewers.
A worked example at the presets, 20 hours a week with viewers spending $30 an hour, is $600 of viewer money a week. That is about $354 on Stripchat, $216 to $378 on Chaturbate, $360 on MyFreeCams, and $270 on LiveJasmin at the 45% Level 4 rate, because $1,200 billed in a fortnight lands in the $1,000–$2,000 band. The gap between the rows is the platform’s cut; the gap between you and the presets is the part no calculator can fill.

Referral programmes the platforms run, and what we are paid
Three of these platforms pay for new models, and it is only fair to say who is paid what. Stripchat pays its own models a one-time reward when a referred non-studio model earns $200 and takes a payout, and does not publish the amount, so we do not invent one. BongaModels pays its own models and studios for referrals in four tiers. The top tier is a “$100 bonus” for a model from the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand after that model earns $200; the others are $75, $50 and $25 by country, paid every two weeks.
Chaturbate pays broadcasters “500 tokens for each new user who registers, broadcasts, and earns $20 while broadcasting”, and pays affiliate sites like this one $50 on the same trigger. Stripchat, LiveJasmin, Flirt4Free and CamSoda pay us for model registrations through the links above; MyFreeCams, Streamate and SkyPrivate do not, and our text about them is the same either way.
What we did not check
We have not registered as a model on any of these platforms, so approval times, dashboards and the real traffic a new room gets are outside this page. CamSoda’s model pages could not be read at all.
Streamate’s share is a studio-page figure, not an official one, and SkyPrivate’s percentages are its own marketing. Where a platform did not print a share, we did not fill the gap with an agency’s number; the “webcam model jobs” results that quote $300 an hour are recruitment pages, and we do not repeat them.

By published share, MyFreeCams (“more than 60% of all gross revenue”) and LiveJasmin at its top level (80% above $30,000 in a 14-day period) print the highest numbers; Stripchat’s own example works out to about 59% of the viewer’s payment. Streamate’s roughly 35% is the lowest documented, but it is per-minute income with no tipping needed. Figures read 24 September 2026.
Which cam site is best for beginners?

What is the minimum payout on cam sites?

Weekly on Stripchat (Tuesdays) and BongaCams (Fridays, with early Tuesday payouts for models online three days a week). Twice a month on Chaturbate (periods 1st–15th and 16th–31st) and MyFreeCams (1st and 16th). Every 14-day period on LiveJasmin. Monthly on Flirt4Free by its performer agreement.
Can I cam without showing my face?
BongaModels says yes: “our models can stream without showing their faces or while wearing a mask”, with the right to verify you online. Every platform here still requires a government ID with your face for age verification, so faceless applies to the stream, not to the signup.
Do I need a studio or agency to start?
No. All nine platforms accept independent models directly; studios exist as an option (Chaturbate studio accounts, BongaModels studio registration, Flirt4Free studio administration). Agencies that rank for “webcam model jobs” take a share of your earnings on top of the platform’s cut.
What does a cam site check when you sign up?
A current government-issued ID with your name, date of birth and photo, plus a selfie with the ID, on every platform here; MyFreeCams also asks for a photo of you with your ID. Chaturbate lists what gets an ID rejected: expired, temporary, hand-written or edited IDs, birth certificates and military IDs.
Bottom line
Start on a tip site with a free room and a $50 minimum, Chaturbate or Stripchat, and keep the first payout as your benchmark. Move to Streamate when you would rather sell minutes than collect tips, to LiveJasmin or MyFreeCams when your volume makes their shares bite, and to BongaCams when payout speed matters more than anything. Read each platform’s own model page before the first stream; every number here has a date because they change.
