Short answer: legitimate, with one catch. CamSoda dates to 2014, and the company behind it is traceable in a state registry: Secure Live Media, LLC, active in Florida, annual report filed 17 March 2026. Payments run through Epoch. The catch sits in the Terms, where token purchases are “final sale” with no refund. Public rooms need no card, so the checkout is the only financial decision.
Quick verdict: safe to watch, because nothing is gated behind a card. Legit as a business, with a named manager and a filed annual report. Weak spot: no refunds under the Terms, and 30 days to dispute a billing error.

What CamSoda is and who runs it (public records, not the site)
CamSoda is a live cam platform on the freemium model. Public rooms play free, with no account and no card. Tokens pay for tips, private shows, toy control and recordings. Wikipedia dates the launch to 2014 and names Daron Lundeen as the founder.
The domain is older than the company filing: WHOIS on 15 September 2026 dates camsoda.com to 28 April 2015, registered through GoDaddy behind a privacy service and paid up to 2035.
Now the part the site does not tell you. CamSoda publishes no legal entity name on camsoda.com — no company block, no number, no address. So we read the records.
- Florida Division of Corporations: SECURE LIVE MEDIA, LLC, a foreign (Delaware) LLC, document M17000001668, FEI 47-3734404, filed 27 February 2017, status ACTIVE, 2026 annual report filed 17 March 2026, mail address Miami.
- The people line on that filing: the authorised person with title MGR is LUNDEEN, DARON — the founder Wikipedia names independently.
- CamSoda’s support page tells buyers their statement will show EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE, which matches Secure Live Media and no other name.
- CamSoda’s own server shows the naming pattern: the sister product at fans.camsoda.com ships a config naming its company Secure Fan Media LLC, and that name has its own active Florida filing, M18000004086.
Four independent sources point one way, so we treat the operator as settled — though we do not claim CamSoda says it publicly, because it does not. One trap: the toll-free number on third-party profiles for camsoda.com is Epoch’s billing line, not CamSoda’s. Viewer support runs on email.
Billing: Epoch, what your statement says, non-recurring
We bought tokens on our own card on 4 September 2026, so this part is first-hand. The 300-token pack priced at $14.99 was charged as €13.55 through Epoch, and the order said “Non-recurring”. Our confirmation named the merchant LIVESODA, descriptor EPOCH.COM*LIVESODA.
Two descriptors exist, then, and neither of them says CamSoda.
The documents fill in the rest. The Terms decline to name a processor, reserving the right to “contract with a third party to process all payments”. The Privacy Policy says “Financial Data will not be stored by us”. The help centre promises “encrypted connections and PCI-compliant billing partners”, and the support page names Epoch and PayPal.
Three points from our own account: token packs are one-off charges, not a subscription; the auto re-up toggle appears only after a first payment, and ours arrived switched off; the $19.95 monthly membership is the single recurring charge, cancelled in two clicks the same day.
Two features deserve a flag. CamSoda’s FAQ describes Token Credit, where an enabled account can “spend tokens up to a daily limit and be charged later”. And the help centre says token prices “start at approximately $0.08 per token”, adding that “Final pricing varies by country, VAT, and currency”.

Refunds and disputes: the “final sale” rule and the 30-day window
The hardest line comes from CamSoda’s own Terms, in a document dated 7 May 2025: “all purchases of Credits are ‘final sale’ and no refund will be given”. No conditions attached.
The help centre is softer than the contract, calling tokens “non-refundable once delivered, except in cases of duplicate billing, fraud, or technical error”. The shape is clear: buyer’s remorse is not a case, a double charge is.
There is also a clock. Under Billing Errors, a charge you do not query within 30 days of it appearing on your statement counts as accepted. Read the statement in the month you buy.
Tokens are not your property under the Terms. They are “Credits”, and the contract states “you have no right or title in or to any such Credit”. On termination, “Any Credits left in your account will be deemed forfeited to us”.
- Buy what you plan to spend. A balance kept for later can be lost to a clause.
- Keep the Epoch email — it carries the merchant name and descriptor a bank asks for first.
- If you lose the account, go to the biller: Epoch’s public Find My Purchase tool cancels a recurring charge without a CamSoda login, and its billing support runs 24/7.

Arbitration, 2257 and model verification
If money turns into a dispute, the Terms decide where it goes. Claims run through arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules, venue Miami-Dade County, Florida, exclusively. Class actions and punitive damages are waived, and liability is capped at what you paid over the previous twelve months. For a $14.99 buyer, that cap is $14.99.
On compliance, the Terms carry a section headed Member’s Obligation to Comply with 18 U.S.C. 2257, placing record-keeping on whoever uploads or streams. Age rules are strict on paper: nobody under 18, immediate closure where a minor is suspected, referral to NCMEC.
We could not read CamSoda’s 2257 custodian address. camsoda.com refused our tooling with a 403, and the group renders such footer addresses as an image file — the config on fans.camsoda.com points to /img/footer-address.gif. We are not guessing it.
Model verification is documented, which is what decides whether the people on camera are consenting adults. CamSoda’s age-verification page asks for a US driver’s licence or passport, a photo of that ID, then “Photo of the same ID held up next to your face”. Its DMCA agent is a named Florida attorney.
Is there a CamSoda app? (No — here is how we checked)
No CamSoda app is published in either major store, and this takes a minute to verify.
- Apple: we queried Apple’s own iTunes Search API for the term camsoda, US storefront, software entity. It returned a result count of zero on 15 September 2026.
- Google: a Play Store search for camsoda that same day returned only unrelated titles — Soda, Tango, Candy Crush Soda, Camsurf.
Mobile access is the browser, and the site is built for it: CamSoda’s own FAQ tells phone users to tap the ADD TOKENS button at the top right. That hands you a safety rule too. Any file offered elsewhere as a CamSoda APK came from neither store, so treat it as unsafe. The same test on other platforms is in our cam site apps guide.
CamSoda VR: what is and isn’t published
VR is real here, and we walked into it on 4 September 2026: an age gate, then a button reading ENTER VR EXPERIENCE. On a desktop the stream becomes a 360° viewer you drag with the mouse, and inside the player the interface curves around you. Nothing installed on our side: the VR view opened in the browser.
CamSoda keeps live VR sections rather than a marketing page: a VR tag listing under its girls directory, a labs virtual-reality page, and an FAQ on viewing VR models, all three showing in search results on 15 September 2026.
What is not published matters if you are about to buy hardware: there is no current list of supported headsets. The only public document is CamSoda’s wiki VR page, and although it was edited in June 2026, the content is from around 2016 — it calls the Oculus Rift barely available and suggests a nightly Firefox build with a WebVR add-on.

Reputation: why there is almost no public rating
Hunting for a CamSoda score is strange, because there is barely one. We checked three places on 15 September 2026.
- Trustpilot: the profile is gone. The page says the business “goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot”.
- Sitejabber (now SmartCustomer): the profile is claimed but empty — zero reviews.
- REVIEWS.io: 2.80 out of 5 from ten reviews, with texts as thin as a bare “Excellent service”.
Threads about CamSoda do exist on Reddit, in r/CamGirlProblems, r/SexWorkers and r/questions. We could not open Reddit in this pass, so nothing is quoted or dated.
The honest reading: a missing Trustpilot rating is not a fraud signal. Trustpilot applies its guidelines to adult businesses as a class, removing good and bad operators alike. Ten reviews is a sample, not a verdict.
So judge the checkable things — the registry filing, who takes the card, what the refund clause says, how much plays for free. Our scored write-up from that paid account is the CamSoda review, at 7/10.
What models get: the other side of the money
CamSoda’s own model documentation is worth reading, since a platform that pays performers late has a problem. That page, edited in June 2026, says “the model is paid $0.05 to $0.055 per token”, calls that a 50–55% share, and puts roughly 65% of gross spending as reaching models once bonuses count. It also states: “Payouts are weekly and will have no reference to CamSoda”.
The same page lists default rates of 30 tokens a minute for a private and 12 for a spy. Those are defaults, not a price list: every model sets her own rate, which is why the sidebar groups rooms into bands. On 4 September 2026 those bands read 6–18, 30–60, 90–120 and 120+ tokens a minute.
Where this comes from
Two things here are ours: the billing facts and the VR walkthrough, from a real account and a real card charge on 4 September 2026. The screenshot above is from that session.
Everything else is public record, gathered on 15 September 2026. camsoda.com answered our tooling with a 403, so CamSoda’s own documents came from its open wiki mirror: Terms, Privacy Policy, FAQ, contacts, DMCA notice, age verification and model payments, all edited in June 2026, with the Terms document dated 7 May 2025. Help-centre wording came from search snippets quoting those pages.
The company record came from the Florida Division of Corporations, the founder attribution from Wikipedia, the app result from Apple’s search API and the Play Store, the domain history from WHOIS.
Four things we could not confirm, stated plainly instead of filled in: the bonus wheel promotion rules (we found the page title only), the supported-headset list, the 2257 custodian address rendered as an image, and those Reddit threads.

Is CamSoda safe?
For a viewer, yes, and the reason is structural: public rooms play without an account or a card. Payments go through Epoch, and the Privacy Policy puts card data with that processor rather than the site. The risk is not fraud but finality — under the Terms, tokens you buy are not refundable.

Bottom line
CamSoda passes the tests that can be run from outside: a named company with an active filing, a manager matching the founder on the public record, a mainstream processor on the card, documented model verification, a dispute venue in the contract. The reputation vacuum is a policy artefact, not a warning.
The real risk is one-way money. Purchases are final sale, leftover balances can be forfeited when an account closes, and a billing error goes stale after 30 days. So the safe way to use the site is the cheap way: watch the free rooms, buy only what you mean to spend that evening, read the statement the same month.
