The short verdict
OurDream AI is the one companion app in our comparisons that publishes a price for every action it sells. That makes it the easiest to budget and the easiest to audit, which is why it holds the cheapest verified picture on our NSFW AI image generator list. It is not the cheapest way to chat, and it is not free in any useful sense.
It probably suits you if:
- You want chat, pictures and video in one account and can watch a coin balance the way you watch a data allowance.
- You would rather know that a picture costs 5 coins than guess from a “generous” quota.
- You care that reference-photo uploads are switched off at product level, not just banned in a policy.
- You are happy to pay by card or crypto, and to pay a year upfront for the low rate.
Look elsewhere if:
- You want a free tier: without a subscription you pay a coin per chat message and cannot generate anything.
- You want to pay with PayPal. The help centre says it is not accepted.
- You expect a refund after trying it: the help centre refuses refunds once more than 25% of a purchase is used.
- You want long videos. The price list stops at 60 seconds, whatever the marketing says.
What OurDream AI is: chat, pictures and video on one coin balance
OurDream AI is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation with a Dover address, under Terms of Service last modified 26 August 2026. The two domains, ourdream.ai and ourdream.io, are one account. You create or pick a character, chat with it, ask for pictures inside the chat or in a separate generator, and turn pictures into short videos with optional audio. Every one of those actions except plain chat draws from a single balance of dreamcoins.
That design is the whole story of the cost. The subscription is not the price; it is the entry fee plus a monthly batch of coins, and the coins are what you actually spend. The help centre publishes the rate for each action, which is rarer in this niche than it should be, so most of this review is arithmetic on those rates.
OurDream AI pricing: $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year
Two plans are published, both labelled Standard. The help-centre plan article, edited 17 July 2026, and the FAQ block on the homepage give the same figures. No third tier appears anywhere on the public pages; the pricing route shows plans only inside the app.

Pricing verified 17 September 2026. The annual plan is a single charge: the article spells out “You pay for the entire year upfront ($119.88)” and “You are NOT charged every month”. Renewal coins land “at 2pm EST on your renewal date”.
Two rules matter more than the headline price. Coins never expire and never reset: the coin guide says “Dreamcoins do not refresh monthly”, so an unused month rolls forward. And coins cannot be bought on their own: “You currently need an active subscription to purchase dreamcoins”. There is no coin-pack route around the subscription.
Is OurDream AI free? What the free tier actually gives you
“OurDream AI free” is the second most searched phrase about the product, and the honest answer is that there is no free tier, only a free account. Without a subscription the coin guide is blunt: “every chat will cost 1 coin each, and you will not have access to the majority of these features”. Image and video generation are locked; the help centre says “You need a subscription to generate images and videos”.
The platform does not hand out coins either. Asked about free dreamcoins, the help centre says “we don’t currently offer free dreamcoins”, pointing to Discord competitions instead. There is no trial subscription. Whatever you generated while subscribed is not deleted when you stop paying: “your images and videos will become blurred till you re-subscribe”. Download first, then cancel.
So the cheapest real test is one month at $19.99, which buys 1,000 coins: roughly 200 pictures, or 50 seconds of standard video, or 20 minutes of voice calls, in any mix. The 14-day quality guarantee described below is not a trial either; it is a defect claim at the company’s discretion.
What a picture actually costs
The coin guide, edited 2 March 2026, prices every image action. In chat a picture is 5 coins. In the generator it is “10 dreamcoins per 2 images”, the same 5 per picture. Enhancing one costs 10, editing costs 10 with the Spark model or 20 with Eclipse, and creating a chatbot costs 10 with its first two pictures included.

The dollar columns divide the plan price by its 1,000 monthly coins: a coin is about 2 cents on the monthly plan and about 1 cent on the annual one. Those are our sums, not OurDream’s. At 5 coins a picture the monthly allowance is about 200 pictures, which is where the “cheapest verified picture” line on our generator comparison comes from.
One chat cost is new since our March reading. Ordinary models are free to chat with on a subscription, but the guide now lists “Genius / Lively Genius models: 1 dreamcoin per response”. A thousand replies from the top models would use a full month of coins, so the “unlimited messages” promise holds only for the standard models.
What a minute of video costs
Video is priced by the five-second block: “100 dreamcoins per 5 seconds”, with “Up to 60 seconds max (1,200 dreamcoins total)”. A full minute therefore costs more than a month’s allowance, about $23.99 on the monthly plan and $11.99 on the annual one by the same arithmetic. Ultra quality is “200 dreamcoins per video”, a flat fee rather than per block.

The marketing says something else. The affiliate landing pages sell “up to 10-minute ai video generation”, three times over. The price list, which is the document you are billed by, stops at 60 seconds and prices nothing longer. We take the price list as the fact and note the contradiction; if a ten-minute option exists, its cost is not published anywhere.
The rules: no reference photos, no real people
OurDream has the strictest upload rule we have found in this niche, and it is enforced by absence rather than by policy alone. The help centre states “We do not allow for the uploading of reference photos to OurDream due to possible deepfakes and other legal problems”. There is no face-reference feature to misuse.
The Prohibited Content Policy, last modified 9 June 2026, covers the rest. Section 1: “Content designed to resemble, depict, or impersonate real individuals — including public figures and celebrities — without their consent is prohibited”. The same section states “It is strictly prohibited to generate AI content resembling minors”. The Terms separately bar submitting “voice recordings of third parties (including but not limited to celebrities) without their consent”.
The moderation runs on outputs as well as prompts. Our NSFW AI prompts guide records the block screen, “Generation failed – Content policy violation”, and the help centre’s admission that the system “may flag safe content”. Coins spent on a blocked generation are returned.
Refunds, cancelling and deleting your account
Refunds: 14 days on paper, 25% in practice
The Refund Policy, last modified 9 March 2026, is a quality guarantee, not a change-of-mind window: “If you experience a defect or a service that is significantly different from its description, please contact us within 14 days from the date of purchase at [email protected]”. The company then decides “at our discretion” between a credit, a replacement, a fix, or a refund.
The help centre narrows it further: “We cannot issue refunds for product that has used more than 25% of it’s amount. Monthly subscriptions cannot be refunded if the coin has been used up, annual subscriptions may be eligible for full or partial refund”.
Card refunds take “5-10 business days”. Crypto is out: “all payments made with cryptocurrency are final and non-refundable, except where prohibited by applicable law”. A refund also cancels the plan, blurs your library and removes unused coins.
Do not go to your bank first. Section 5 of the policy says “Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending investigation”. Buyers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, with the usual catch: “you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content or service has been fully provided”.
How to cancel
Open your profile, click “Cancel subscription” and confirm. The help centre says “You retain access until the end of your current billing period” and “No automatic refunds for cancellation”. Resubscribing later “creates a new subscription. Any previous unused coins are not restored”. Cancelling does not delete anything; it blurs your pictures and videos until you subscribe again.
Deleting the account and your data
Deletion lives in the profile’s danger zone, takes “24-48 hours”, and the article warns “Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone”. It removes “All generations, unpublished characters, and chat history”, then “Unused dreamcoins (no refunds)”, and finally account access even if time is left on the subscription. Asked whether it can be reversed, the answer is “No. Deletion is permanent”.
One clause in the Privacy Policy, section 9, edited 26 August 2026, is worth reading before you publish a character. For popular public characters the company reserves “the right to preserve that Character’s characteristics and to keep that Character active on the Services, even if you otherwise delete your data and your account”. Retention periods are described as a principle, “for the time necessary”, with no number attached.
Paying: cards, crypto, no PayPal, and what your statement shows
Cards and cryptocurrency are the two ways in. The help centre is explicit about the third: “Unfortunately at the moment we do not accept PayPal”. Its workaround for declined cards is a G2A code for coins or for a year’s subscription. The catch: “You have to have a current subscription to our service in order to redeem a coin purchase from G2A”.
Card payments clear in “2-15 minutes”, crypto in “15 minutes up to 24 hours”, and “If a payment is declined, you are NOT charged”.
What appears on your bank statement is not published. We read all 36 articles in the help centre and every legal page: no statement article, no descriptor, no payment processor named. That is a documented absence, not evidence the charge is discreet. If it matters, ask support in writing before the first payment, or use crypto and accept that crypto payments cannot be refunded.
OurDream AI vs Candy AI, and vs Seduced
Against Candy AI the difference is transparency, not features. Both sell chat, voice, images and video from one balance, and both ban imagery of real people. Candy AI shows its plan prices only inside the signup flow and gives most buyers a 24-hour refund window from payment. OurDream publishes every rate and offers a 14-day defect claim that dies at 25% usage. If you want to know the cost before you register, OurDream wins; if you want a real cooling-off period, Candy AI’s 24 hours is at least a window you can plan around.
Against Seduced, which leads our NSFW AI video generator comparison on generation counts, the trade is quota against arithmetic. Seduced advertises large monthly counts with prices that only appear at checkout and a two-day trial with watermarked downloads. What we did not check
We did not create an account, subscribe, generate a picture or a video, or judge output quality. Every figure here is what OurDream published on 17 September 2026, and the dollar conversions are our division. If we buy a month, this page gets a first-hand section and screenshots; until then it does not claim one.
We also publish no rating. OurDream’s Trustpilot profile has been removed; the page now reads “This profile has been removed. The business you’re trying to find goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot”. Any star score you see quoted elsewhere is from a cached copy. Nor do we repeat the user counts: the homepage claims over 10 million users while the affiliate pages claim 20 million and 70 million, and the company’s own pages do not agree with each other.

OurDream AI is worth a month if you want a companion that also draws and animates, and you want to know what each of those actions costs before you press the button. Buy the monthly plan first, download what you make, and only move to the annual rate once the coin maths matches how you actually use it. Do not buy it for the free tier, because there is not one, and do not buy it with crypto if you might want the money back.
