Becoming a Chaturbate model means one free account, one signed Independent Broadcaster Agreement, one government ID with a selfie, and the “Broadcast Yourself” button. There is no separate model login. You keep $0.05 per token, are paid twice a month from a $50 minimum, and get a NEW tag for your first 80 streaming hours. The short version
Chaturbate is the easiest big cam site to start on because the viewer account and the broadcaster account are the same thing. You register, verify your age once, and the “Broadcast Yourself” link is live. The help centre’s own summary, updated 23 September 2026: “Getting started is simple. First, sign up for a free account. Once you’re logged in, you can start broadcasting by clicking on the ‘Broadcast Yourself’ link.”
It suits you if:
- You want the largest free-to-watch audience and are willing to earn in tips, privates, fan clubs and media rather than a per-minute rate.
- You have a current government ID and are happy to submit a selfie with it.
- You can wait for a twice-monthly payout with a $50 floor, or qualify later for Daily Payouts.
- You want to stream from a phone as well as a computer.
Look elsewhere if:
- You want a published percentage rather than a token rate: Chaturbate says $0.05 a token, and your share of the viewer’s money depends on which token pack they bought.
- You want to stay anonymous from the platform. ID and selfie verification is mandatory for everyone who appears on camera.

What you need before you register
The broadcaster registration page lists “Computer (PC or Laptop) Windows or Mac Operating System” and “You must be over 18 years old”. The help centre adds a phone route: “log in to Chaturbate.com and find the ‘Broadcast’ button on the menu on the left”.
The ID requirement is precise. “Make sure your ID is government-issued, current (not expired), and includes your date of birth, a clear recent photo, your ID number, and your legal name.” A selfie of the ID holder is required as well.
Nothing costs money. The registration page calls it “Free Registration” and “Quick and Easy Signup”; the help centre says “Signup is easy and free, so you can start earning real money.” What you do need is a username you will never regret. The safety article advises picking “usernames not associated with any of your personal accounts or your real name”. A username becomes your brand, and changing it later is a support request.
Chaturbate broadcaster registration, step by step
The help article “How do I get age verified?”, updated 24 September 2026, describes the flow, and the registration page confirms it. Four steps:
- Create a free account at the broadcaster registration page with a unique username; the help centre suggests one that is “fun, unique, easy to remember, and describes you best”.
- Read and agree to the Independent Broadcaster Agreement. “Each person broadcasting on your account must review and agree” to it.
- Upload “a clear photo/scan of a valid government-issued identification (ID)” plus a selfie. For the selfie, “you should only show your face in the frame”, without holding the ID next to it.
- Wait for approval, then click “Broadcast Yourself”. New creators get a NEW tag “for 80 hours of streaming during your first 30 days”, which the help centre describes as “special visibility”.
The registration form itself sits at chaturbate.com/accounts/broadcaster_register. Open the Chaturbate broadcaster signup to start there rather than on the viewer signup, which asks the same questions but does not show the performer agreement until later.
Two things people get wrong. Verification is per person, not per account: a partner, friend or anyone else on camera needs their own ID on file and their own signed agreement under your account. And the NEW tag is a clock, not a badge: 80 streaming hours inside 30 days, then it is gone, so plan the first month before you switch it on.
Chaturbate model login: there is no separate model site
“Chaturbate model login” is one of the most searched phrases about the platform, and the answer is that it does not exist as a separate page. Broadcasters log in at chaturbate.com with the same username and password as viewers; once you are age-verified, the “Broadcast” link appears in the left menu on desktop and mobile. Studio owners have an extra stats view under “Affiliate Program” at the bottom of the site, but still log in the same way.
The one login feature worth switching on is 2-Step Verification at chaturbate.com/security. The help centre says the app name “is generic (such as Google Authenticator) and will not mention ‘Chaturbate’”, that SMS codes “contain only your 2-Step token”, and that automated calls “have no caller ID”.
If you share a phone or a household, that discretion is the point. Forgotten passwords go through the normal reset; usernames can be changed, but the help centre treats it as a support request, not a setting.
Age verification: what gets an ID rejected
Most delays at signup come from the ID photo, and the help centre publishes the reasons. Accepted: “government issued plastic IDs”, “drivers license IDs” and “passports”. Not accepted: “No expired IDs”, “No permit/temporary IDs”, “No hand-written or drawn IDs”, “No photoshop or photo/image manipulations”, “No birth certificates”, “No Military IDs”. Paper IDs are refused outright.
Photo faults that trigger a decline are listed too. “Out of Focus”. “Too Small (the smallest lettering of the ID must be legible)”. “Obscured (fingers or other objects that cover ID – hold ID by its edge)”. “Cut Off (not fully in frame)”.
“Low Contrast (flash reflection or poor lighting makes ID/person hard to see)”. An ID nearing expiry must be replaced before it expires; “We send out notifications that IDs are about to expire.” Photograph the card on a plain surface in daylight, holding it by the top and bottom edges, and you will pass first time.
Broadcasting with a partner: guest accounts vs independent broadcasters
Chaturbate allows up to five people on one cam, but every one of them must be verified. The article on additional broadcasters is blunt. Skip it and “you could lose the ability to receive tokens and possibly your broadcasting privileges.” Each extra person uploads front and back of their ID plus a selfie, and signs an Independent Broadcaster Agreement under your account.
The lighter route is Guest Accounts, for friends who already have their own verified Chaturbate account: add their username, they add yours, and once the status shows “Active” you can broadcast together, “a maximum of 5 guest accounts”. Couples usually take the independent-broadcaster route because it keeps both people on one earnings account; the guest route suits occasional collaborations.
How much does a Chaturbate model make?
Chaturbate does not publish a percentage. It publishes a rate: “Tokens convert to cash at a rate of $0.05 each”, with the conversion table running from 100 tokens for $5.00 to 100,000 for $5,000.00. Viewers, meanwhile, pay between $0.079 and $0.140 a token depending on the pack, by our own purchases on 1 September 2026. Put together, a broadcaster keeps between 36% and 63% of what the viewer spent, worst on the smallest packs.
What the tokens add up to is the real question, and the help centre answers it only with a list of income streams: tips in public chat, private and spy shows, fan clubs, media sales and direct messages. Payouts: $50 minimum, two periods a month, daily after you qualify
Two articles carry the schedule. “Payment periods are from the (1st-15th) and (16th-31st) of each month, and are sent within 7 days of the pay period ending”; the newer “When will I receive my payment?” article says within 7 business days; and “most methods start at a minimum of $50.00”. Direct deposit adds “2-7 business days for your bank”; cheques take “2-7 business days for domestic (inside USA)” and “2-6 weeks for international”.
Daily Payouts exist but are earned: “U.S. based broadcasters must have already received two payouts from Chaturbate and international broadcasters must have already received four payouts.” They process “Monday through Friday mornings at 1:00 AM MST”. Rules that get broadcasters banned
The site-rules article condenses the Terms and the Code of Conduct into five lines. No abusive language, “including racism and hate speech”. No harassing other users. “Performing while intoxicated, whether from alcohol or drugs (prescription, legal or illegal), is strictly prohibited.” No drugs on cam, “even if it is legal in your jurisdiction”. And “Do not broadcast in a public area where people may unknowingly appear on your broadcast”.
Toys have their own article. Banned: “Overly large sex toys or animal-shaped sex toys”, anything that produces “an electric shock”, and objects “unless they are normally marketed and sold for that purpose”; sex machines need written authorisation and possibly a liability waiver. Bans are handled case by case: the help centre’s whole answer to “Why was I banned?” is to contact support with your username.
Privacy: blocking regions, watermarks and takedowns
Chaturbate’s safety article is unusually direct about recording: “unfortunately the answer is yes”, people can record a show “if they have the right software or even just a phone pointed at their screen”. Its advice: a watermark through OBS, apps that hide the stream from anonymous or token-less users, and the free takedown service, “Chaturbate offers a free content takedown notice service”.
The other tool is regional blocking, and the article recommends it for everyone: “it’s highly recommended to block your home state from viewing your room”, with the caveat that VPNs exist. It also flags a leak people miss: an Amazon wishlist that shows “your full name and city to anyone that visits the wishlist”. Use a PO box for the shipping address and check the public wishlist URL before adding it to a bio.
Broadcasting from a phone
Mobile broadcasting runs in the browser, no app: “log in to Chaturbate.com and find the ‘Broadcast’ button on the menu on the left”. Portrait and landscape both work, but “The orientation cannot be changed mid-broadcast”. Supported on 23 September 2026: receiving chat, private messages, private shows and tip notes; sending chat and PMs from the phone were listed under “Features Coming Soon”. Chaturbate recommends the latest Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.
Studios and the 500-token referral
A studio is an ordinary account that other broadcasters register under, using a link of the form chaturbate.com/accounts/register/?studio=username, and “all broadcaster earnings go into one account daily”. Broadcasters also have a referral programme of their own.
It pays “Up to 10 tokens for each new user who registers” and “500 tokens for each new user who registers, broadcasts, and earns $20 while broadcasting”; the link sits under the “share” tab in the room. That is the same trigger, $20 earned, that pays webmasters like us $50, which is why this page exists.

We did not read the full Independent Broadcaster Agreement or the Code of Conduct; the rules above are the help centre’s own summary of them.
