Secret Desires AI (secretdesires.ai) is an 18+ chat, picture and video companion site run by Playhouse Media LLC of Dover, Delaware. On 6 October 2026, the free tier needed no card and paid plans cost $7.99 to $19.99 a month.
Quick verdict: an adult AI companion that covers texting, roleplay, pictures, short videos and voice calls, with partners that can message first; paid plans from $7.99 add unlimited messages and monthly credits. Two catches: sales are final outside the EU, and in November 2025 its cloud storage left nearly two million files exposed.

What is Secret Desires AI? Chat, pictures, video and calls
Secret Desires AI calls itself “an adult AI fantasy platform built for the partners, kinks, and scenarios you don’t talk about anywhere else”. You design an AI partner or pick one from a public library, then text, trade pictures and short videos, and take voice calls.
The guide offers two chat styles: Texting for short messages and Roleplay for longer scenes. Memory Notes hold the facts you want kept, and an optional Auto Memory summarises older chats. Partners can also message first, sending images, voice notes or calls once Texting Realism is on.
Replies come from a choice of chat engines: some are included in a plan, while premium ones charge Hearts, the site’s credits, per message. In July 2026 the team wrote that requests likely to be refused by the big AI labs’ engines now go to “the best uncensored chat engine available”.
Who runs it: Playhouse Media
The footer names Playhouse Media LLC of Dover, Delaware, and for the EU Playhouse Media Trading Ltd. of Birkirkara, Malta, registration number C112448. The Terms of Service, updated 26 March 2026, apply California law, send disputes to JAMS arbitration in San Francisco, waive class actions and allow one year to bring a claim.
The domain first appears in the Wayback Machine in January 2024. Sign-in runs through Firebase with a Discord, Google or X account, per the Security page.
Pricing: the free tier, Pro, Ultra and Max
There is a free tier and three paid plans, billed monthly, quarterly or yearly. The table comes from the plans page, read without an account on 6 October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Yearly | Hearts a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $7.99 | $21.99 | $79.99 | 100 |
| Ultra | $13.99 | $39.99 | $139.99 | 200 |
| Max | $19.99 | $54.99 | $199.99 | 300 |
Pricing verified 6 October 2026 in US dollars. Signed out, the page opened under a “Register to View Plans” window with the monthly prices beneath it; the quarterly and yearly figures come from the page’s data, which also holds euro prices for the European Economic Area: €7.03, €12.31 and €17.59 a month.
Pro lists unlimited messaging, image and video generation, voice features and its own chat engines. Ultra adds “Advanced & Ultra Chat Engines” under the card subtitle “Voice Cloning & more”; Max adds “Experimental Chat Engine Access”.
The guide warns that the site “may show different plan presentations, promotions, limits, or feature experiments”, and that the checkout price is the one that counts. The page code also holds a “Premium” offer at $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year that was not on display.
The “Save 10%” and “Save 20%” badges, checked
The quarterly tab carries a “Save 10%” badge and the yearly tab “Save 20%”. Against twelve monthly payments, a year paid up front saves 17% on every plan, $79.99 instead of $95.88 for Pro. Quarterly billing saves 8% on Pro and Max and 5% on Ultra.

Is it free? The free tier in two sources
Yes, to start. The home page says you can begin “for free, with no payment required to begin”, and the free-tier page adds “No card required”.
The daily allowance is where sources disagree. The plan data in the page code caps free accounts at 30 messages and 2 images a day, and signed-out visitors at 5 messages and 1 image. A notice of 28 February 2025 reads: “Lifted daily text limit from 30 to 90 for free users.” Which figure applies today was not checked.
The Terms say “A free trial may be offered”, and the plan data holds a $0 trial tier, but no trial was on offer on the plans page read.
Hearts: what the credits cost
Hearts pay for “selected premium actions” such as premium chat engines, video, voice and calls. The guide says exact costs are “intentionally not listed” because they change, and whether unused monthly Hearts carry over is not stated.
The page’s data lists eight Heart packs, from 50 for $4.99 to 10,000 for $519.99: about 10 cents a Heart in the smallest pack and 5.2 cents in the largest. A Pro month costs a dollar less than the 100-Heart pack alone.

Launch notices give a sense of scale. On 25 August 2026 the Anima video engine cost 50 Hearts for a 5-second clip and 100 for 10 seconds; on 5 October the team said it had become about 30% cheaper.
Secret Desires discount code: none found on 6 October 2026
No public code turned up. The plans page and the 56 scripts linked from it contain no coupon or promo-code field; the checkout was not opened. The published discounts are the two badges above, and the page code names a “Late Summer Promo” dated 11 to 25 August 2026.
Is there a Secret Desires AI app?
Not in the app stores. The home page FAQ answers: “Secret Desires works perfectly in your mobile browser—no download needed.” Searches of Apple’s US App Store and Google Play on 6 October 2026 found no app from the brand or Playhouse Media; the one Apple listing with the name is another developer’s couples game.
The Terms of Service still say they cover “the SecretDesires.AI mobile application (the ‘App’)”, though no such app was found. The site has no web-app manifest either, the file browsers use to install a site like an app.
Secret Desires AI image generator: photos and video
The Generate Images page makes photos or videos of a chosen partner. Per the guide, you pick an engine, quantity, action and outfit, add a text description, and see the Heart cost before you confirm: “Video and some engines may require a paid plan or additional Hearts.”
Results land in the Gallery, where they can be downloaded, deleted or turned into a live photo or video. Free accounts get 2 images a day under the plan data.
The line-up changes often. On 18 June 2026 the team retired Picasso, leaving Monet, Vermeer, daVinci and Raphael, and later said it would consolidate around Vermeer and Raphael. The Anima video engine launched on 25 August 2026 at 720p; by 5 October it made clips of up to 30 seconds.
Under the Terms you own your characters and their “Generations”, while the company gets a licence to use them to run and promote the service. Text-to-image tools are compared in the NSFW AI image generators guide, and video tools in the NSFW AI video generators guide.
What happened in November 2025
On 19 November 2025, 404 Media reporter Samantha Cole wrote that the service had left “cloud storage containers” holding nearly two million images and videos open to the public. The exposed files included photos users had added and the full names of real women; many people pictured had “very little digital footprint”, the report said.
The AI Incident Database logged the case as incident 1284, dated 19 November 2025. Its summary describes “misconfigured cloud storage” and files including personal photos, workplace and university details, and explicit AI-generated deepfakes of real women.
The company did not answer 404 Media’s request for comment. The files “became inaccessible around an hour after the publication reached out”, Mashable reported the same day.
No statement about the exposure was found on the site. Its notice feed jumps from a 29 September 2025 update to 22 January 2026, and archived copies of the home page from 9 November 2025 to 1 February 2026 do not mention it.
Nearly four months later, a 15 March 2026 notice titled “Security & Trust Overhaul” introduced Trust, Security and Transparency pages, first archived on 11 March. They cite a SOC 2 audit with Delve, “Initiated February 2026”, and penetration testing by Casco Security and BSK Security; the notice does not mention the exposure.
It also promised: “First transparency report drops June 30th.” On 6 October 2026 the Transparency page still said the first report “publishes Q2 2026”, with no report linked, and the privacy policy still carried its 24 October 2024 date.
How safe is it? Rules, age checks, billing and privacy
The service runs under two named companies, one registered in Malta, with written rules, a complaints route and, since March 2026, security pages; how the rules are enforced was not checked. The weak points on record: the November 2025 exposure, an age check that rests on your word, and a privacy policy older than the newer promises.
Rules on age and real people
The Terms require users to be “at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)”, and registering counts as affirming it. The Trust page adds “we don’t require identity verification”, and its themed landing pages describe each character there as a “fictional, consenting adult”.
On real people, the rules and the site’s own pages do not line up. The Transparency page (9 March 2026) lists “Unauthorized use of real individuals’ likenesses” and “Non-consensual synthetic media depicting real people” among grounds for removal, and the guide asks users to affirm they have consent for a reference face. The company announced the removal of its face swap feature on 18 April 2025, and in August 2026 wrote that new image references are “not faceswap”. Yet on 6 October 2026 two live pages still mention a face reference. Which is current was not checked: no account was opened.
US federal law has prohibited publishing non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated depictions, since the TAKE IT DOWN Act was signed on 19 May 2025.
Complaints go to [email protected]: the Complaints Policy (1 January 2025) promises an acknowledgment “typically within 72 hours” and a full response or update within 5 business days.
The charge on your statement: SDAI
The Security and Trust pages say charges appear as “SDAI” on your statement, a descriptor that shows “nothing that identifies the nature of the service”. The processor is not named publicly; on 9 July 2025 the company wrote that it had “switched to a new payment processor that better supports businesses like ours”. Accepted payment methods are not listed on the pages read.
Privacy: newer promises, older policy
The Trust page (9 March 2026) says conversations are “never used to train AI models” and go through providers that “contractually guarantee zero data retention”. The privacy policy of 24 October 2024 still lists using information “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”; the two documents disagree.
The Security page lists AES-256 encryption for stored data, TLS in transit, Cloudflare in front of the servers and OVH data centres certified to ISO 27001. Login runs through Firebase, “meaning we never store your password”.
The privacy policy sets no retention period, keeping data “for the time necessary”. If you leave, two clauses survive: the Terms give the company a “perpetual, irrevocable license” to content you submit, and the privacy policy may keep a popular public character active “even if you otherwise delete your data and your account”.
Reviews: a small, recent Trustpilot profile
On 6 October 2026, the Trustpilot page for secretdesires.ai showed 4.1 from 9 reviews. The profile, a “Claimed profile” since September 2026, carries the note “This company hasn’t invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative”. Five-star reviews made up 78% and one-star 11%, and 7 of the 9 reviews on the page were posted between 29 September and 1 October 2026, the other two in May 2026. Two reviewer names match testimonials on the site’s home page.
The operator’s own review page shows 4.8/5 across 22 articles and videos.
Cancelling, refunds and deleting your account
Cancel in Billing before deleting anything, expect no refund outside the EU, and treat deletion as permanent.
Cancelling
The guide’s route is Profile / Settings, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription, completing “every confirmation step”. Keep the final confirmation, and cancel before deleting the account.
Refunds
The Terms (26 March 2026) say: “All sales are final and non-refundable except for EU residents who are granted a 14-day withdrawal period.” They rule out refunds “for dissatisfaction, misunderstanding, or technical issues”, and a subscription that follows a free trial is non-refundable too.
For a duplicate or unrecognised charge, email [email protected] with the date, amount and currency; replies typically take “24-72 working hours”.
Deleting the account and your data
Deletion runs from Profile / Settings, then Settings, then Delete Account, once any subscription is cancelled. The guide calls it permanent: it “removes access to your account, Partners, chats, and associated data”, and the Trust page promises “No waiting periods”. Data requests go to the same support address.
Secret Desires alternatives: four picks and how each differs
Each is recommended in the site’s wider guides; the facts below come from those pages, with their dates.
- OurDream AI publishes a price for every action it sells: $19.99 a month buys 1,000 dreamcoins, about 200 pictures at 5 coins each (pricing verified 17 September 2026; OurDream AI review).
- Candy AI puts chat, voice, images and video in one account and states a refund window: 24 hours from payment, or 14 days in the EU and UK (verified 9 September 2026; Candy AI review).
- Nomi builds private companions rather than a public catalogue (checked 2 October 2026); it was free to start with no card on 9 September 2026.
- Dream Companion is run by Miracle AI UG, a registered Berlin company working under German law; Premium cost $11.99 a month or $69.99 a year on 5 October 2026 (Dream Companion review).
The wider field is compared in the NSFW AI chat apps guide, on the Candy AI alternatives page and on the AI tools hub.
What was not checked, and where this comes from
No account was opened and nothing was bought, so chat and picture quality, the real free allowance, Heart costs per action, the checkout, payment methods, a real statement line, regional age checks and how the rules are enforced are all unseen.
Read on 6 October 2026: the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Complaints and Content Removal policies, the Security, Trust and Transparency pages, the guide, the plans page and its code, the notice feed, both app stores and Wayback Machine copies.
Press: the open part of the 404 Media article (the rest is paywalled), Mashable and the AI Incident Database. Trustpilot and the plans page were also viewed in a browser; Reddit was not read, and the open sources do not say who first found the storage.
The general method is on the how reviews are checked page, and how the site earns from links is on the affiliate disclosure page.
FAQ
Is Secret Desires AI safe?
It runs under two named companies, one registered in Malta, with written rules against deepfakes of real people, security pages added in March 2026 and a complaints route; how the rules are enforced was not checked. The record counts too: the November 2025 exposure of almost two million files, and a privacy policy last dated October 2024.
Is Secret Desires AI legit, and what shows on a card statement?
It is a real business: Playhouse Media LLC of Dover, Delaware, with a Malta company for EU residents and dated terms under California law. Charges appear as “SDAI” on card statements, per its Security and Trust pages. Legit is not generous, though: only EU residents get a 14-day withdrawal period, and the Trustpilot rating rests on 9 reviews.
Is Secret Desires AI free?
Free to start: the home page promises no payment to begin, and the free-tier page says no card is required. The daily allowance is unclear, as the page code sets 30 messages and 2 images a day, while a February 2025 notice raised free messages to 90. Video and premium engines may need a plan or Hearts.
How much does a Secret Desires plan cost?
On 6 October 2026, Pro cost $7.99 a month, Ultra $13.99 and Max $19.99, with 100, 200 or 300 Hearts. Yearly billing costs $79.99, $139.99 or $199.99. The badges promise 10% off for quarterly and 20% for yearly billing; against monthly payments the real savings are 5 to 8% and 17%.
Is there an app for iPhone or Android?
No. The site says it “works perfectly in your mobile browser”, and searches of Apple’s US App Store and Google Play on 6 October 2026 turned up no app from the brand or its operator. The Terms of Service still mention a mobile application, but none was found.
What happened in the November 2025 leak?
On 19 November 2025, 404 Media reported that the service had left nearly two million images and videos exposed in cloud storage, among them photos users had added and the names of real women. The files went offline about an hour after reporters contacted the company, which did not comment; no statement was found on the site.
Does it have an image generator?
Yes. The Generate Images page makes photos or short videos of a chosen partner, and stills can be turned into video. Free accounts get 2 images a day under the page code. Video costs Hearts: at its 25 August 2026 launch, Anima charged 50 Hearts for 5 seconds.
Which alternatives are worth comparing?
It depends on what matters most. OurDream AI publishes a coin price for every action, Candy AI states a 24-hour refund window (14 days in the EU and UK), and Nomi starts free with no card. Dream Companion is run by a Berlin company under German law, with Premium at $11.99 a month on 5 October 2026.
Bottom line
Secret Desires packs texting, roleplay, pictures, video and calls into one browser account. The catches are money and trust: no refunds outside the EU’s 14-day window, and no statement found on the site about the November 2025 exposure.
It suits you if:
- You want chat, pictures, video and calls on one plan, with Hearts for the premium extras.
- You are fine with browser-only access and, per the site’s Security page, an “SDAI” line on your statement.
- You will check the Heart cost before each video or premium engine.
Look elsewhere if:
- You live outside the EU and want a refund window in writing: Candy AI states one.
- You want the coin cost of every action published: OurDream AI lists it.
- You need an app from the App Store or Google Play.
Start on the free tier, check the price and currency at checkout, and keep the cancellation confirmation if you leave.
